Hello dear readers! Today I would like to tell you about my favorite book and write a short review about it for the book "Flowers for Algernon".

I'm so glad I read this book, because you SHOULD read it.

First of all, I was hooked by the fact that this is an unusual story from a series of cheap novels and detective stories. I read the book in a couple of days, as I couldn't tear myself away and do some other things. But the plot tells us that people just need to be human.

So, the story is about a man with autism who has been living like this for 35 years. Every day he is offended and not taken seriously. But one day, he was offered an experiment to overcome his problem. He and the mouse Algernon became best friends, because they were both test subjects and in a cage, but did the specialists manage to conduct the experiment? You can only learn this from the book, which is everywhere. But all I can tell you is that he will have a lot to experience. Though he might have behaved badly in the past he is a good guy.

The second point that I really liked is the characters. It is an unforgettable feeling when you become something close and understandable with a literary hero, as if he is telling his own story. So don't think that the characters will be "dry".

In general, I have a lot of impressions.I wished we were nicer to each other. And you clearly understood that I would definitely recommend it. So rather download or buy the book to be aware of all the events!

Welcome to my blog! Today I would like to tell you about a wonderful course in which I learned a lot of new and interesting things.

I have been interested in history since high school and I really like the topic of the Second World War, because it was not so long ago. There are still witnesses of that time and our ancestors took part in it.

However, my post will be about those who also suffered from the fascists, who killed everyone for any offense. And Jews were killed because they were just born. So I was interested in reading more about the Holocaust.

First of all, I would like to note that the poetry of people who were in the Holocaust is taken as a basis. The emotions and feelings when reading the passages were completely different. And I was interested in continuing to participate in the course.

Secondly, I was able to get acquainted with the historical monuments and I want to visit them. Because in reality, I will be able to learn even more new things and feel completely different emotions.

Third, this course raised the problems of Jews who were mercilessly tortured and killed during the Second World War. Our generation can't even imagine what torments people went through. Many poems were written by people during and after the Holocaust. Thanks to this, we were able to learn more about what really happened in these concentration camps. If we were here, we should understand the war and racists things are too awful.

I really liked the course, and after completing it, I felt that I knew a lot more. Several years later, today, I remain with the same sense that faith after the Holocaust, certainly for survivors but also for second and third generation, belongs within the private domain although much has been written centering on theological explanations of this event and the place of God in human history. Some survivors remained with a firm belief or gained this belief after the events, and the opposite.

I hope you enjoyed my new post. This is really interesting, so I advise you to take this course.

Hello everyone, my last post is an essay. Today Alina, Natasha and me would like to present our new work!

«Frankenstein, or the modern Prometheus», is a novel by the English writer Mary Shelley, which was written in 1818. This work was her first creation. The book was written in the style of a Gothic novel. God forbid! A Gothic novel is a work based on the reader's pleasant sense of horror, a romantic «black novel» in prose with elements of supernatural «horror», mysterious adventures, science fiction and mysticism. One of the main and dominant themes in the novel is the theme of love. Love is one of the feelings that is given to many in life. We can say that this is a feeling that makes you kinderpurer, more perfect. Love has many faces. This is love-friendship, love-cooperation, love-passion, love-tragedy. In the novel, you can find answers, for example, to such questions as «How is love shown in the novel?», «Does every living being need love?», « What is the relationship between the main characters?» and so on. And the fact that will remain the same is that we all need love. Every living being is worthy of love, who should we love? The answer is simple — love those who are dear to you, those whom you call relatives, those who really deserve this feeling.

So everyone calls Frankenstein a monster, but is it really so in the book, the creation of Frankenstein is not so much a villain as a deeply tragic character. All the murders committed by him are not connected with the manifestation of animal cruelty or thoughtless thirst for blood. In some cases, he is forced to do this by circumstances. In the focus of Monster’s cruelty and non-humanity, there lies his hunger for a parental love. After he escapes from his creator, he first recognizes his own ugliness when he sees his reflection on the water and than gives meaning to people’s strange attitudes towards him when they see him. The awareness of their own worthlessness, ugliness and uselessness developed negative traits in the monster. He wanted to take revenge on his creator for the fact that no one loves him, that Victor disowned him, and for the fact that he is the only one in this world with his own peculiarity. The monster, through his actions, is repaying Frankenstein for what he has put him through. The monster did not ask to be created, he did not ask for any of what he suffered through. But when he asked for a friend, a girl who would be just like him. Frankenstein refused, he was again afraid of bad consequences after such a "union". It turns out that the monster is a child who is simply not needed by his parent. He could feel and reason, and that makes him human. The fault was in Victor Frankenstein, who could not teach the monster good deeds and did not give his creation bright feelings. Confound these people who drop their creations! And revenge and murder are not taught. That is why he is left to himself, decides to find a way out by himself. He saw happy families, perfect families, and he wanted just the same. And the best solution was to deprive the family of the one who created it. To make Frankenstein feel what it's like to be left without a family, without loved ones and relatives. But in the end, he failed, after the revenge, people do not know what to do next, as well as a monster who no longer sees the point of being in this world as an "alien". This love story shows that even monsters need their own people.

M.Shelly showed love in all its forms. After reading this work, the reader asks a lot of questions. And love is the key word in all of them. Should the monster's love for the world count? Or do such beinghave no right to love and be loved? These are complex questions, the answer to which is not given. But love is affection, recognition, and compassion. Lack of love can have a detrimental effect on a person. Therefore, the end is what it should be. M.Shelley wrote a novel where the theme of love is a powerful weapon, but whether it will benefit or harm, everyone decides in their own way.

What is the subjunctive mood?

The subjunctive mood expresses an unreal situation. It expresses a possibility, a suggestion, a wish, something imaginary, or the way that you want something to be.

Greetings to my new friends!

Welcome to my blog!

I am a student of the Moscow State Pedagogical University, I am 18 years old and I love to read blogs on various topics, so I decided to start my own!

Here I want to talk about my favorite things that inspire me. Or something I'd like to share with you.

The essence of the blog is in art! Harmony is everywhere: in ourselves, in music, in literature, in sights, and even in languages. When we find this harmony, it becomes a new art. So stay tuned for my updates and I will be able to interest you in topics that look boring and complex.
